12-12 IF

I just started IF a week ago and I am doing 12-12 I am 33 years of age and my blood sugar is pretty high. Will this approach be effective, what is the diet like in IF?

No. But it could be a good place to start, I guess.

To heal blood sugar issues you’ll want to:

  1. Switch to a whole foods diet (paleo, whole30, Mediterranean, no packaged stufffs). Or better yet, a whole food keto diet to further reduce carbs.

  2. Eventually shrink your eating window to 18 fasting: 6 eating. Or better yet, ADF, alternate day fasting, 36:12 or 42:6

  3. During your eating window, eat only the meals (2 or 3) No snacking.
