Hey all! I'm thinking of starting intermittent fasting, but 5 days a week and 2 off. Does anyone have any advice or experience doing this? Maybe progress information? Basically, I plan on breakfast after gym at 7:30am and finishing my intake by 3pm - Sun to Thurs and hoping this method will be effective, google hasn't been easy to find info about it and has suggested doing the full 7 days rather than 5 but unfortunately, that's not so easy for me with other circumstances out of my control. Thank you :) Any insight is welcome and appreciated!

I do this with 20:4 and i am still dropping weight not only that it has really helped a non curable skin condition i have :) i fast during the weekdays and on the weekends i dont fast but make sure to do a really good workout saturday and sunday and i try not to snack at all. Started after beginning of july and have dropped 17 pounds so far. You probably didnt find much on the method you want to do because IF is really up to what hours and days you want to fast. Results of course will vary the stricter or looser you are, also with your starting weight.

This is what I do. Well, almost.

On weekends, if there are events (ie: friends hanging out, dates, etc) I enjoy late dinners, snacks, breakfast and/or brunches.

Sometimes I do those things by myself: dating myself for self-care. Other times, I still fast although maybe have shorter hours.

In a year of doing this, I’ve almost reached my GW (still fluctuating between 54-55kg from my SW of 63kg). It is the best way for me to adapt to this lifestyle without it affecting my social life.

It’s slower than fasting 7 days a week, but it still works.
