18.8lbs in 8 days 😍

Currently on day 9 of my water fast. I have been consistently losing about 2 or so pounds a day, until today where I stalled. I’m the same weight as yesterday. I lost 18.8lbs in 8 days & I’m super proud of myself & excited to see where I’ll be at the end of this fast (15 days). Also, I hope that woosh effect happens to me lol. I just learned about this the other day reading through the group.

Woosh Effect: “Your fat cells are cannibalizing but at a stubborn rate. It’s like that time frame where you’re cells are holding water but no fat. The fat is gone but the fat cell is holding on to dear life, keeping the water around. Hoping you might fail. But after a specific point you end up loosing 3 lbs all at once. It may feel like you lost it at that moment but it was ultimately a result of the many hours of fasting that led up to that process.”

I’m assuming how much you lose with the woosh effect is dependent on how long your weight stalled, activity levels, your body, how much water you drink, etc… it will probably be different for everyone
