I’m now about 24 hours into my dry fast and this will be the last time I weigh myself today. 217.8 lbs. It’s been pretty easy so far but I do have thirst. The thing that surprises me is the weight loss. I’ve been doing keto for a while and making sure I am under 20 g carbs so I was not expected this type of weight loss on day 1. I thought that maybe I could crack under 220. Other than the weight loss I am not really noticing anything else. Actually toes might be a little colder than usual and breathe seems like it’s been bad all day despite brushing twice.
Thirst will come and go, even if you’re very active, so maybe it won’t be so bad. I have a complicated chronic-illness and will have to go consecutive long d.fasts of a couple of weeks or more to cure, but I din’t know what your condition is…
27 hours in and having trouble sleeping so broke the dry fast and had some water. Will likely break the water fast in the morning since I work an 8 hour day. Don’t think I would have the strength for a physical job. Will do it again when I have a few days off
Woke up and now 34.5 hours in. Feel amazing after waking up. It was much harder at night when I was trying to sleep. I was intending to break the fast this morning since I work all day but now debating to keep going. I’ll see how I feel in a couple hours. I’ll probably break it because my job is just too physical. Current weight is 217.2 lbs
