24/36hr fasts worth it?

Ive never done an extended fast longer than 36hrs. but i have done a couple 24hr/36hr fasts for a soft reset, and all the other fasting benefits u hear abt (probz not autophagy occuring at this timeframe). but is it a waste of time doing these (especially as someone trying to bulk). should i do longer fasts 2-3days etc? (not asking is shorter fasts r better than longer. obvs longer unlocks more benefits) but in this case i would do them even less often maybe like 1-2times a year. whereas i do these 24/36hr fasts once every couple months. TLDR: What is the difference between a 24/36hr fast and a longer fast of a couple days? Is the difference in benefits that great that i shouldn't waste my time with 24hr fasts? (I have been weight training for 10+yrs and strength/size/health r very important to me, especially trying to optimise everything I can as a natty)

I found alternative day fasting to be very flexible. I like the 2 nights of fasting too. It’s easy to fast when sleeping. For myself this works really well. On eating days, I’m not really hungry so I usually just eat 1 meal. I experimented with different methods.

That’s the #1 issue with fasting - we know it’s good, but no idea how to dose it. Ie do you get 80% of the benefit at 3 days or 50%? How much better is 7 vs 4.

For what it’s worth, Dr. Attia has moved from 7 day every quarter to 3 day every month or so.
