I haven’t made it to 72 yet, but I’ve done some 42s, 46s, and a 48… I struggled most around dinner time. I love sparkling water and I really miss red wine so while my husband ate dinner, I’d pour a LaCroix into my favorite wine glass. Almost felt like I was having a little treat! Then I’d switch to hot tea for the rest of the night, get myself cozy for bedtime.
In the moments where I felt seriously hungry, I would remind myself: this is the feeling of losing weight. This is literally what I WANT, and the more time I spend feeling this way, the better my scale results will be.
And other moments when I am struggling even more, I just declare loudly I AM STRONG AND I CAN DO THIS!
Proper electrolytes will help you feel 100% - potassium, magnesium, sodium. A shot of saltwater is not sufficient for a 3 day fast. Also, I’m not sure how long your commute is, but drinking salt water very quickly will give you diarrhea 🙂 Hope you made it to work with any incident lol. Sip electrolytes throughout the day.
