3 day fast anyone?

Feeling brave and trying my first ever 3 day fast, starting tomorrow. Anyone want to join? Or any tips and motivation very welcome too! Wish me luck

I started one last night! It’s been a while for me - I tend to get a headache or feel a touch off, freak myself out about it and bail, so rarely go past 48 hrs. But I am determined to do 72 this time around.

I’ve been meaning to start fasting for a long time now, but I’ve never taken the plunge. That stops now.

I will join your three-day fast and I will drink plenty of water along the way. BOOK IT!

EDIT: mere hours after posting this I broke down and got a Jimmy John’s. But the journey starts TOMORROW! BOOK IT!

I started almost 20 hours ago!

Planning for three days. I want to do three of these and do a blood test to check to see if my ANA autoantibodies are still there. I drink warm water throughout the day and black coffee in the morning.

  1. Electrolytes (although you should be okay for 36 hours), but its a good habit to start.
  2. Unlimited water, iced tea (black or green)
  3. keeping yourself busy (physically and mentally) e.g exercise, a long walk, streaming a great new series, reading a book

I started my 72 on Sunday and will break it on Wednesday evening. This is my 2nd one since I started fasting beyond the daily 20fast and my alternating 48fast. I’m modifying to a 72 hr weekly and the remainder of the week is a 20/22 hr OMAD until I hit my goal weight. Fasting is great and fairly simple as long as you remain disciplined and you can tweak it modify it to suit your needs.
