Sounds like a good plan, can’t say for certain you’ll lose 30 lbs but you’ll definitely drop some weight.I really like rolling 72s because you rarely suffer from refeeding syndrome with fasts that short and you can definitely fast right up till it’s time for you to go without having to babysit your digestive system. So yeah try it.
Are you doing this to look “better” for your trip or as an overall commitment to fat loss?
You shouldn’t have a problem dropping 30lbs arguably 1/2 that would be water weight but you seriously veer off a plan while on vacation you may actually gain it ALL back in 2 weeks or less.
For me while on vacation I’ll do keto a few days b4 because I’ll be drinking, keep up electrolytes and plan your indulgences carefully.
Eg had a wedding overseas so I cut weight and planned a quality refeed. Then was OMAD and enjoyed the wedding banquet and when home did 96. Got me back to pre wedding weight quickly BUT I had gained11 lbs
Note: 11 lbs is a full size up in a lot of clothes! I got into my suit for the wedding but no way would it fit properly end of the week.
