4 day fast done!

I just finished my 4 day (~106hr water fast) and wow, I had no idea how much better you feel. I'm a nerd at heart so I did a ton of research before and I followed the usual timeline. I started Thursday with my last meal on Wednesday finishing at 8pm. Day 1-2 completely okay. I had work and I'm a trainer so I was out and about most the day. I felt like a super human on day 2 and beyond, my smell was insane, I could decipher food from like 2 blocks away lol, colors became super vibrant, I was a lot more sensitive to the subtle energies of others and was just in a great flow throughout, again starting on day 2. Day 3 is when ketosis kicked in and I felt like shit in the morning. A hot shower some light exercise and stretching helped. But I think I felt so bad because I didn't have much salt the day before. Either way I felt completely fine, actually really energized, after 11am. Day 4 was cake. Didn't even feel hungry. Had breakfast this morning, half a banana and apple and I felt full lol. Been munching on strawberries, nectarines, and apricots. But omg did they taste sooooo good hahaha. In terms of stats, I did some measurements and caliper test and had the following results, in addition I'm 5'10: Before (measurements in cm other than weight): Weight- 169 lbs Neck- 40.5 Chest- 104 Stomach- 86 Waist- 95 L Arm- 31 R Arm- 31 Booty- 106 R Thigh- 59 L Thigh- 59 Before Caliper: L Arm- 7 R Arm- 7 L Stomach- 12 R Stomach- 12 L Leg- 8 R Leg- 8 After (measurements in cm other than weight): Weight- 159.5 Neck- 39 Chest- 104 Stomach- 80 Waist- 89 L Arm- 29 R Arm- 29 Booty- 103 R Thigh- 59 L Thigh- 59 After Caliper: L Arm- 6 R Arm- 6 L Stomach- 6 R Stomach- 6 L Leg- 7 R Leg- 7 This was my first fast. I usually do time restricted eating for the most part, only exceptions are when I go hiking. O typically do a daily 16hr fast w/ 8hr eating window, sometimes I'll just do a 22hr fast w/ 2hr eating window. But this was definitely challenging, more so on day 3. Needless to say I'm super excited to try this again for a longer fast. I'm probably going to do water fasting 2 days a week for the next all benefits. Though I feel I had really good physical results, they didn't compare to anything in terms of the spiritual/intangible/internal impact. I just felt at such a profound all day (outside of the morning blahh on day 3 lol), didn't have any mental or emotional chatter/distractions. I found my meditations in the morning kept the same resonancy throughout the day. I'm usually always pretty chill but I was speechless how much the fast amplified the clarity/calm I had. My advice to all those curious about trying, definitely make sure your consuming enough salt (Himalayan pink is my recommendation), be sure to keep yourself extra entertained on day 3 and 4. I watched a ton of documentaries, stand ups, and had some great conversations/calls with friends. It just makes time fly by. And also, get enough sleep, I stayed up late on Day 3 and felt super groggy day 4. Other than that, good luck to those on their water fast and keep up the great work. To all those who haven't, do your research, I'll try to post some studies in a new thread but gotta get back to work. Enjoy your day everyone! Advance apology for poor formatting, I'm on mobile. Edit: the list was a paragraph, added blank line in between.

I really love fasting. I’m on day 4 now. It’s really cool how each fast I’ve done is a little different than the last one. One thing that is fairly consistent though is I can’t seem to sleep. I feel sleepy at night but when I go to bed I just can’t sleep. Normally I’m a very sleepy person. I feel like I could fall asleep on a roller coaster, lol.

Does anyone have ideas for a fix? The bags under my eyes tell the world that I’m fasting.
