54hrs In

Hi guys, I’m about 54 hrs into my dry fast and I’m thinking about calling it quits as my body feels really weak, all I wanna do it lay down but then I’m uncomfortable. Plus I don’t have the mental clarity I usually do when I dry fast. I’m putting it down to my body healing & recovering from the foods I was eating prior to my fast which is making me want to just keep going. I was aiming for a 5 day fast. What do you guys think I should do?

Honestly, just conserve energy. Unless your heart is beating like crazy and you feel faint you can more than likely hold on. I couldn’t believe it but I made it to seven days just last week. Ride the waves!

I’m at 67 hours on my dry fast. Listen to your body. You’re likely experiencing detox symptoms. When I feel sore/tired, I just tell myself, give it another hour and see how you feel. I also try to focus on the positive changes I see, like easier breathing, feeling lighter, mood lifting a little more every day. I’m pushing through the detox symptoms for now because I want to see what’s on the other side.

Listen to your body! You can always do it again and little increments of improvement is better than nothing. You can drink water and keep fasting too if you want. Water fasting is better than no fasting right? 🤓 good luck 🥰
