We’ve all been there, some of us have given in, some of us have pushed through. The feelings at the end are always better if you push through. You won’t have to reflect on all the other times you gave in, the times you didn’t accomplish your goals; this is the time you accomplish your goal and start a new way of living.

Go find whatever it is you want to eat and tell yourself as many times as you need to: THIS (food item) WILL STILL BE HERE WHEN MY FAST IS OVER AND I CAN ENJOY IT THEN. It’s not so much about “not eating” but “I’ll eat it later.” You got this!!!!!

One thing I always tried to remind myself of, the thought of eating is always more satisfying than the act of eating

All those times I cracked early because I couldn’t fight the urge and it was never worth it, I’m always left feeling horrible, bloated, uncomfortable and disappointed in myself

It’s times like this you need a major distraction

Every time you eat food you are literally killing yourself! :DDid you know that farmers typically skim the flies off the milk before they give it to you? (Fun fact from a farmer guy) If that doesn’t work, think of the way mastication works. We chew food until it’s a slimy ball of spit and disgusting, and then sludge it down our food tubes so it can join the cesspool of partially digested food. It’s kind of like feces, but in the pre-exit stage!

On another note - I find the body will tell you when it’s time to start eating again. So probably don’t ignore those signs.
