advice about fasting

I'm on towards 48 hours into a water fast, towards the end of the second full day. I had planned to try out 4 or 5 days and see how it went, and based on reading around the reference content here I should add electrolytes as intake. That was what I was going to ask about, but even though this must be one more repetitive post to scroll past I'll still ask what to expect from the next 2 or 3 days. Tomorrow I'm going into the office to work but typically remote online work keeps demands light; it's easy to take a break, and stress and physical demands are limited. I thought this would be worse. I joined my wife for an outing to a Bangkok night food market yesterday, after not eating all day, and it wasn't so impactful. I smelled a few things that triggered more hunger there, than I was already experiencing, but most of it I didn't crave more than normal. I had plenty of energy today to do some light work around the house, and enough mental clarity to get some things done. I'm feeling hunger but it's ok.

I struggled with days 3 and 5 when I did my first extended fast. It was most definitely lack of minerals. I now rely on magnesium powder, sodium, potassium supplements and lots and lots of plain water to make it through.
