Flow generally requires what you’re focused on to be marginally difficult, but not too difficult that you get frustrated and want to quit.
Mindfulness meditation actually helps to improve “vagal tone” which is related to breathing, heart rate, and digestion. Meditation helps us practice being present in the moment. I meditate in 3 minute sessions a few times through the day, but try to have a 12 minute session early in the day before work or studying
I am extremely present this fast and don’t care about food at all. I’ve been able to make food for other people.
It wasn’t always like this. I think practice is what makes it easier. Building and building, and becoming an peace with it. I don’t hate food, I don’t desire food. I am simply existing.
I’ve always wished I could be here, and now I am. I don’t know if it’s just this time, I don’t know why I’m so zen, but it’s amazing.
