What are you trying to heal? I’ve seen testimonials where people noticed warts disappearing weeks after their 3 day fast. I’ve dry fasted 7 days twice and didn’t see a huge difference in myself but I’m relatively healthy besides being overweight
I don’t want to diminish your three day fast I think that’s amazing. I would encourage you to read some fasting books one that I really like is The transformational power of fasting. So you are probably experiencing some healing because since your body isn’t using 90% of its energy to digest your food it can help. However it’s important to understand the body’s process and what states it goes into. When you are water fasting for body healing you need to do at least five days it’s better to do seven. You don’t have to drive fast this does not make your body heal faster. Your body during the first three days is switching over to ketosis so if you do a water fast for just three days your bodies not diving deep into the healing. You need to get to 5 to 7 days before your body is actually healing. If your body is not in ketosis it’s not healing. To answer your question yes & no. Is your body going to continue to heal at the rate it was when you’re fasting if you stay in a ketosis state which can be easily done for example I’ll eat avocados broth and pumpkin seeds after I fast for about a week. Because I’m not eating sugar it does not elevate your body back out of ketosis. So you can continue healing eating food as long as you’re eating very small amounts. And not eating anything unhealthy. As far as if you were going to fast for seven days and then go back to a regular diet of eating meat and maybe some unhealthy things is your body gonna continue healing no. But it will function better because you have cleaned out your organs. Thank of your body like a bike wheel. The bad processed foods that we eat is sort of like a bike wheel with mud clogged up all around it. The wheel of the bike is going to run slower and less efficient. However if you have fasted you have cleaned some mud of the wheel & your body entirely will function better. Just like the wheel of the bike will go faster. You need to do a seven day fast if you want a major difference & clean out your body. The book I read said that most people only need to do up to a 14 day fast for most major things. If you’re fasting for cancer for example you would maybe need to do up to 21 days. My mother had breast cancer and she water fasted for 21 days and cured of herself. Some people might find a seven day fast intimidating but I have to say as someone who has done many of them it’s not as hard as you would think and not as easy as you would like. Also you do get a burst of energy after day five for me. It’s less hard for most people the longer you water fast.
