Almost completed 3rd day. Cat is strange.

Hi all, I almost completed my 3rd DF day and: \- I am ok from all points of view \- I just noticed a strange behavior on the part of my cat: she is so cuddly, much more than usual. Do you think she "feels" my state of deep fasting? I'm curious about what do you think about pet feeling. Once I read dogs feel the ills and the healing process inside people... Never experienced anything related before today.

This is not an unheard of thing.

In my experience women are nicer to me and offer me food (with me not saying anything about me fasting or them being around enough to notice i havent eaten)

In the case of animals they may be smelling ur ketones/ur change in smell. They may notice that u normally eat at certain times and wonder why ur not eating. Whether because they lick up pieces u have no idea u dropped or they are just aware humans eat a few times a day. They may also think ur sick/dying as often animals dont eat/drink when they are sick.

But whatever the reason it seems to happen.

Interesting..I just finished 48 hr dry fast exactly 5 min ago lol. Enjoying a Pellegrino ! I have three cats haven’t noticed anything. I’ll be on the look out next time I dry fast.

Also congrats on your 3rd day. I’m too chicken shit to go past 48 hrs hoping this reddit gives me the confidence . I love the feeling of accomplishment after a dry fast. They are much easier than water fasting for me as well.
