Am I Too Fat/Toxic to Dry Fast?

I’ve attempted another dry fast and didn’t get past 42 hours. Here’s what happened. First day I was thirsty but not unbearably so. But o was tired as hell. I mainly laid down but I needed to work. Surprisingly I wasn’t hungry though I did crave watermelon a few times. Day 2 I notice a really weird film in my mouth. I got thirsty but it was different because it wasn’t like my body was thirsty just my mouth. I brushed my teeth and gums but that only seemed to help for an hour or so. Day2 I was even more tired and slept for 5-6 hours instead of working. This mouth feeling plus a headache and the lethargy finally caused me to cave in. I was thinking maybe I’m too toxic. I’m 6’ and 215 pounds. I should probably weigh about 180. That’s 35 pounds of toxic fat. Any suggestions? I heard someone say (maybe Cole) say if you’re still overweight snake juice diet to your weight then dry fast. Anyone want to chime in? I REALLY want the benefits of it but not getting past even 48 hours is wearing my motivation down. - Jason

I think being toxic does make it harder. But I don’t think your ever too toxic to dry fast. It’s just harder( more headache, more fatigue). Just gotta push through and take rest. If I’ve been indulging in not so good food I will sleep a lot on a dry fast and have a headache on day 2. If I’ve been eating clean, no headache and barely sleep at all and a lot more mental clarity and energy.

Hmm. Thing with dry fasting is that the fat cells used for water is completely burnt up, destroyed, along with the toxic waste within them. (This is probably a hugely simplified version of an advanced process.) Not regular metabolised fat, I´d imagine it could be a problem with all the toxins left in the body if you´d for instance managed to do a 30 day water fast and lose maybe 20kg+ from regular metabolism in that relatively short period of time. But you shouldn´t dry fast for that long time periods anyhow. And the “regular energy burn” would only be a few pounds or so if you make it a whole week, shouldn´t be a problem.
I think you would have a lot easier if you do keto for long enough to get fairly used to it prior to the dry fast so you avoid getting the keto flu. Also cut other addictive stuff like if you usually use nicotine or drink coffee. Once you can manage to get past the first 3 days the body will have had time to adjust to create water for you. Not that you won´t feel thirsty and dry in your mouth, but a bit less crap energy-wise, possibly still crap from healing but best thing about that kind of crappy feelings is that they usually goes away and gets replaced by something else after a while.
If possible, try keep your mouth shut and don´t put any water in your mouth. First of all it can wreck some of the effect of dry fasting, 2nd it´s torture and you will (most likely) feel thirstier from it. Keeping the mouth shut literally helps prevent your mouth from getting too dry.

Thanks for your responses! I can report that I felt amazing for about 2-3 days after ending the fast. I am going to do snake juice fasting for a few days at a time to work on the mental aspect and then try again. My goal is no love handles by my birthday which is late September. And one 7 day dry fast under my belt. Very doable goal.
