Not a chef, but I actually enjoy cooking while fasting, weird I know lol. I stick to things I know so I don’t need to taste, or prepping meals, canning, pickles and ferments.
As for feeling like you want to taste or eat, that feeling will become easier to ignore and deal with the longer you practice fasting. After a year of fasting and IF practice, I rarely get hungry or crave food during my fast period, and I can cook or be around people that eat without issues.
