Autophagy Lit πŸ˜ŽπŸ“š

Wondering if anyone has any really decent papers/ articles/links (preferably peer reviewed) on autophagy. I have been watching and reading many videos/articles about it but I really need to see a consistency in information. It makes me nervous when doctors claim cancer cures etc when clearly the research is minimal and animal based. I don't mind them saying there is potential for it but mention that it is still being researched. I also don't trust ones that are selling vitamins, shakes books etc (aka Dr Fung seems very knowledgeable since this is his base of study, but if proving the benefits of fasting is how he makes a living, I have to assume he is biased unfortunately) but anywho, it makes me question the rest of the information they are providing. I would just love to have as unbiased info on it as possible, if it exists. HAPPY FASTING Y'ALL!!!

I would also be interested to learn more about autophagy. So far what I’ve read and heard about it have been reasonably vague and there even seems to be some conflicted opinions on the matter. I’m most interested to know, in comparison to the level of autophagy that happens normally, how much does fasting amplify that? Does taking supplements like taking BCAAs in fasting interfere with it? To what extent does exercise amplify it? To what extent do niacin flushes amplify it etc? There doesn’t seem to be definitive answers online.
