Did IF with CICO in 2021 with one 24-48 hour fast per week and lost 35 lbs. Then stopped it all last year and gained all the weight back PLUS (shamefully) an 30 extra pounds. I'm only a 5'4" woman so hitting 200lbs was a huge wake-up call, not to mention the chronic pain that comes with gaining so much. I guess I figured it was fine to overeat and not pay any attention, especially over the holidays, because I'd lost a bunch of weight before. I never thought I'd gained so much more than when I started. I'd already thrown out most of my "fat clothes." I can't wear any of the clothes I bought in 2021.
Now I'm doing rolling 48's, which for me is a bit extreme. I am in a hurry (I know) to at least get back to less than my starting weight before it warms up too much. Now I know I can never stop keeping track like that again because I WILL overeat if left to my own devices. My TDEE is only about 1500 and I bake as a hobby and apparently have been eating too too much of the goodies I make! 😅
I learned a lot about healthy, filling foods. I just need to learn how to turn chocolate cupcakes and chocolate chip cookies (my family's favorites) into something healthy. Wish me luck with that one!
I wanted to post my personal journey for accountability. I made mistakes, guys. It makes me sad to see that my original starting weight was 173, and my new starting weight is 203. I wanted to warn you all to keep checking in with yourself and don't ignore what you're eating after you've lost weight or this could happen to you too.

Just wanna thank you for being vulnerable and sharing. That isnt easy but you’re exceptionally brave.
Also, you got this. You’re gonna do it this time, keep daily fasts, and keep it off. I believe in you.
Answer
Hey! I did the same thing 🥲
My starting weight was 163 I lost about 20 pounds, and over the span of like two years I’ve slowly crept up to over 205. I’d estimate I’m probably about 210, but I haven’t weighed myself in a while because I got too focused on the numbers and got overly obsessed in an unhealthy way. So I’m working my way back down too friend, we can do it!!
