Best Practices…

Would really appreciate your thoughts on these topics to learn more about them: 1) Doing lots of fruits for many days before the fast to get the body better hydrated. It feels more hydrating than water. What has your experience been with this? What are your thoughts on the best ways to hydrate for a dry fast? Juices? Coconut water? Fruits? Or what else? 2) Using a Lymphatic Drainage machine. Have you tried it? Did you like it? 3) Binders before or after a dry fast? Any thoughts? 4) Lemon water with added minerals the night before the fast. Anything you would do differently? 5) Using a dry fast as a way to cleanse and get your body ready for a longer dry fast. For example: a 3-day dry fast, 3 days of rehydration and going into a lo ger dry fast right after. Have you tried it?? 6) Needing distractions when things get tough. What are your thoughts on this? Thank you 🙏🏽 Here’s the link: https://youtu.be/bq7ID0l5yI4

Answer

Lemon water is a trick dieters use to feel like drinking water is drinking ‘something’.

Isn’t the point ‘to’ dehydrate yourself so the body starts turning fat into water? I’m sure saving up lots of water before is going to reduce the amount the body needs to convert fat, but what is the point of that? Unless you are doing it for some long term thing like 10 or 20 days.

For distractions, generally you want in my experience to behave and think as ordinarily as you can, not keep thinking and acting like this is some very special thing that is going to be difficult. Your body to some extent takes your expectation for how things are going to be.

But thinking about food or drink and there are many ways to do this is something to steer away from quickly because that’s when you start creating temptation
