Best refeeds/meals?!

Recently I have been eating raw (mainly fruits, some veg and the odd cooked meal of rice or potatoes etc) and my energy and hydration is through the roof. Did a refeed of meat and veggies yesterday as an experiment and felt down, sluggish and just kind of off. Thoughts? I plan to have meat here and there for nutrition benefits but I’m not loving how it makes me feel. Experience? Comments?

Answer

Meat has really dense energy and you sound like you felt the difference. Eat as you wish but based on how you felt the first time, I would recommend sticking with how you were eating prior to that. A lot of life in fruits and vegetables 🙏🏻

Vegan diet is very bad in medium and long term. You can check this by a lot of vegas that after years are very ill.

I think that the best diet is something like this: fruit in the morning, some low toxic veggies+ meat for lunch and dinner. Animal protein is needed for good health as it is by far the best quality protein available.

For reefiding, I would recommend also bone broth, some boiled veggies like broccoli, always in small amounts. Second day I would do some fruit and also meat (with low salt).

I used to love eating Japanese clear soup w/ sushi or literally just bacon & eggs. I also lost 20 pounds only eating McDonalds within two weeks with an intermittent dry fasting routine and didn’t feel any different. I think it all depends on the person tbh. I had a lot of body fat and was very fasting adapted, so it may have affected me differently. I would say high protein is the way to go. I didn’t eat any vegetables when I was doing my weight loss journey :D
