I am so stoked I just breezed through my first 48h fast. 2pm Thursday - 2pm today/Saturday.
For the past 5 weeks i have been doing omad with clean, whole foods & supplementing with protein powder (ive never been a big meat eater).
Thursday night was totally fine, Friday night was a bit more trying but i stayed busy (was at Home Depot at 9pm 😅) and my house has never been cleaner.
I managed to get my 10,000 steps in all days and my sleep was normal. Falling asleep maybe took a bit longer than normal, but not bad.
So, i am posting because:
a) i am proud of myself for trying and for testing my mental resilience
b) im wondering if a 48hr fast each week will be a good weight-loss strategy?Â
c) should i just keep going until i feel i should stop fasting or should i end as planned today? Im hesitant to keep going because i plan to play volleyball for 2 hours today and dont want to have to quit on my team part way through unexpectedly
Thanks friends!

What a fantastic milestone in your personal fasting journey! Congratulations! I say keep going if you can as lots of experts say the first day or two is the hardest (noting I’m an armchair expert that is still trying to settle into an OMAD schedule 🙂). As a newbie, it is very inspiring to see the journeys of people that have gone before us so thank you for posting!
