Chromium picolinate for weight loss/improving metabolism

Wondering if anyone has experience using chromium picolinate to help with weight loss and metabolism. Basically what it does is speed up metabolism and also helps the body metabolize carbs and fats, also heard that it decreases appetite. But I also heard not to use it constantly longterm (my bottle says to not use it for longer than 6 months). I bought a bottle last month and have been taking it daily in my eating window after eating. I don't know if it's doing anything and my appetite hasn't especially decreased.

I 💯 recommend it, based on my personal experience. My new fave us Cinnamon/chromium picolinate. Take it with coffee in the morning and it gives you a very pleasant aftertaste that kind of convinces you that you might have had something yummy for breakfast and Staves off hunger for several hours. I’ve been taking it off and on since the nineties it does work. I used to take just the little chromium picolinate pills everyday with little dietary changes, and over a year I slowly did lose weight. Now with the cinnamon variety I find that I feel slimmer after taking it for a day or two and the capsules are a bit filling and offer that hunger control. It’s like my breakfast substitute now.
