Does anyone else cover their mirrors while fasting? This is something I’ve been doing for years. I don’t know anyone else who has ever done this so I’m curious to know if you do it too.
I’ve always known that mirrors are gateway portals for entities to travel through into your reality. When fasting you are more open to communication from unwanted visitors. So by covering the mirror will deactivate the portal or keep the door closed. Also, because fasting affects the body in a physical way, mirrors can create illusions that trick the viewers eyes into seeing things they don’t want to see or aren’t accurate which can affect your psyche and give you a false sense of perception.
If a mirror is not properly made, curved or angled at a certain degree up against a wall it can distort the viewers image and make them look wider, fatter or slimmer than they really are.
Funhouse mirrors are a perfect example of this because they are more curved inward or outward creating the illusion to make you look fatter, thinner, bigger or smaller.
This can also be due to manufacturers default or mirror age overtime.
That’s why when you go shopping for mirrors you look slightly or drastically different in one mirror from the next.
The truth is, nobody really knows what they look like and mirrors should not be the determining factor of whether you look good or not. It’s all about how you feel. If you feel good then you must physically match that vibration which means you will look good.

Probably though, this kind of spiritual angle is likely to be disliked by most people on a dryfasting forum
it ends up sounding like mumbo jumbo and putting the process into disrepute - I *do* actually agree with you, but
realistically though, you are surrounded by reflections in all glass, most water, many metals and porcelain, also just as you describe feeling better to look better, you can simply develop feeling like you don’t believe in spirit portals and evil spirits. I think of it as ‘selective atheism’ - it’s nice sometimes to reside in atheism - just believe only in ‘science’ and nothing spooky to chill out and relax.
