If you have the time, why don’t you make your own granola?
That way you are able to control how much sugar is added. Your wallet will also thank you.
Start off with rolled oats, some cinnamon, nuts, and add brown sugar, honey, or maple syrup to your liking. If you’re a fan of chocolate and dried fruit, add those into the mix as well. Bake at around 200°f for thirty minutes or so (depending on your oven) and let it cool. Best granola ever.
Edit: I also ass peanut butter which gives it a thicker consistency and adds protein and flavour
Canola oil is perfectly fine to consume. I’m not familiar with Nature Fit granola bars (did you possibly mean Nature Valley?) so it’s hard to say which might better align with your goals. I would probably select a fruit and pair it with a small portion of Doritos or half a serving of the granola bar for a small snack.
