Cross country drive

Have any of you managed to stay on OMAD while driving the US from coast to coast? I'm interested in experiences that range from 'yes, and here's how' to 'sortof but Nebraska was impossible' to 'save your mental/emotional energy and get back on the daily routine when it's over.'

For me, I find out that driving with empty stomach is actually better. I didn’t get sleepy and could focus better on driving. We usually started the day around 8am, and drove about 10 hr/day max. Having a partner that share the same eating schedule to converse along the way definitely helped. Make sure you get hydrated properly throughout the day.
