Just looking for any insight or advice in general, nothing really specific. Does anyone do anything similar?
Day 1
Is my "feeding" day where I will eat about 2 meals, sometimes 3, spread in an 8 hour period. Goal of getting 150 grams protein minimum. Meals are generally keto/carnivore, but still open to anything.
Weight lifting is done in the morning on an empty stomach. Currently doing push/pull every other day with a rest day in between (push, rest, pull, rest, repeat).
Drinking a glass of sodium/potassium first thing when I wake up as a coffee substitute since I quit coffee a while ago. Seems to be a good boost/wake up. Also drink 1 right before my workout, another late night before sleep. Each cup totals about 500mg of each sodium and potassium. So basically getting 3 grams total from these drinks, plus whatever else from the food I eat.
Day 2
This day is my dry fasting day. I don't eat or drink anything. Originally was going to water/snake juice fast, but since dry fasting is technically better (some claim 1 day dry fast equals 2 to 3 days water fast), I thought I would give it a try and it's pretty good/easy to do so far. I only switched to this new routine for a little over a week and feels good so far. I assume because I'm drinking and eating plenty on Day 1, my body is full of whatever it needs on Day 2, so no lack of hydration, minerals, etc...
Day 3 - Repeat cycle...
Answer
I like it. I’m currently overweight as balls (60+ lbs) but have seen great results (-30lbs since 2023 started) doing dirty rolling 48+s.
Planning to clean up the junk and try a dry fast soon. Wish you much success
