34yo F 258lbs 5’2” this is day 5 of doing 16:8.
So far going good! I woke up before my alarm today which never happens. I’ve lost 5 pounds so far since I started this week. I’m struggling to hit my calorie and protein goals because I get full, yesterday I was 200 calories under my goal and I hit 95g protein but I’m aiming for 125.
- Type of fast: Water
- Length of fast: OMAD
- Why: Weight loss, energy, beat sugar addiction
OMAD is really the right fit for me ! I’ve done 16:8ish for years before (on and off), but nothing could tackle my sugar addiction and unhealthy relationship with food. OMAD fixed this. And I can still workout
Bonus point: Yesterday my meal was a big one, burger and all. I didn’t stress myself out but I was mentally prepared to see the scale going up a bit this morning (even just because of the salt and water weight). It actually went down. I love it, it’s the first time of my life that I’m calm seeing all those big Christmas meals coming up.
Doing my first 16:8 round. 25 year old woman, wanting to get a handle on my health and start feeling good again. It’s been years since I’ve felt like anything but shit. I’m only 4 days in, but I think I already feel better and look at my relationship with food differently!
About 6 weeks 20:4 or better (omad for last 3-4 weeks). Still can’t eat enough at dinner to stay full til bedtime, but I’ll get there! Little desire for food now til well into the afternoon; adapting nicely. Feeling small, feeling good.
