37F, SW: 166, CW: 165, GW: 140, 2x24 hour/week, 16:8/18:6
Day 15I think I lost a pound during the last two weeks. It’s frustrating that it’s only been a pound, but as my SO says, at least I didn’t gain a pound.
I started my first 24-hour fast of the week after dinner last night and will break it for dinner tonight. Looking forward to leftover potato soup since it’s cold and gross.
I made it through Veterans Day (ordered the 6oz sirloin with broccoli and mashed potatoes rather than the three cheese pasta, so I felt good about that choice. We went out to three places over the weekend and I had water or diet pop only. Found some NA, lo-cal (20) IPA and had that Friday night while we enjoyed cigars.
I’m a week out from “that time of the month” so I have a feeling that’s why I’m holding onto weight so hard. I’m hoping to see a whoosh afterwards. Fingers crossed!
Today I broke what was supposed to be a 48 hour fast because I prepped today’s family dinner and tomorrow’s family breakfast.
Today I was using a new ingredient I’m not familiar with so I had to taste the sauce. During dinner I thought “Well I’ve broken my fast anyway. Might as well have a taste.” and ate 3 pieces of meat with the sauce.
All in all I’d say I consumed about 100 calories or less today. While I hate that my supposed 48 was broken at 22, CICO is still on track and I know I’ll be waking up a little lighter tomorrow. Still I need to plan these days better so I can set aside 1 day where I prep an entire week’s worth of meals so I don’t have to do any tasting.
Have not weighed myself since I started last Sept 1 but my waist line has gone from 38-9’ to 34-35’. My goal is to get to 31-32’.
Week 4 Day 218:6 Clean fast
My normal fasting schedule is 18:6, but, I’ve been incorporating ADF into my fasting routine.
Right now, I’m 23 hours into my ADF and I’m feeling great. I just completed a 30 minute hiit, I thought I’d be tired afterwards but I don’t and this was the first time since I started fasting that I’ve incorporated exercise into ADF. I’ll be breaking my fast tomorrow at 7:15am, but I want to challenge myself and complete 40 hours of fasting.

Hi lovely folks! I started counting calories this weekend and it is actually not as bad as I thought it was. I think I had a really bad experience with it last time because I was restricting WAY too much (1,300 cal a day) when really I need more like 2,100 to lose .5lbs a week. Yesterday, I was supposed to break my fast around 2:00pm, but I ended up going shopping and feeling really good about the fast, so I pushed it back to 4:00pm! And when I did eat, I didn’t overeat, and I ended up eating at a deficit (1,617) and feeling full. I’m working on not seeing this as a punishment but as an exercise of will and an opportunity for personal growth!
