Day6 of Week18, IF, 18/6

SW: 104kg/229lbs; CW: 89kg/196lbs; GW: 85kg/187lbs

Today 87,5kg empty weight, down from 88,8kg of yesterday.

Wrapped up my 48h fast just now with stir fried vegetables and chicken breast stripes mixed in.

Will do a bit of crime later on as family dumped a pizza on me of the thin variety. Will eat a slice or two, but leave the crust as that’d be just pure carbs and with carbs every little bit drags in water weight.

Sleep was okay, could still be better, but still it is a real improvement compared to the entire week.

Tomorrow’s menu is still up in the air, besides the greek yoghurt, because that is a must lately given the bunch of flavoring options I can make it with.

Enjoy your weekends folks, relax, recharge and don’t stress about anything! ;)

The scale moved! In a small way, but hey, at least it’s not the same number.

It’s Saturday, I think I’ll be going to eat with friends somewhere but not sure yet. I’ve done well with my sodium this week so I know going to a restaurant will have high sodium but that’s OK because it’s not an everyday thing.

Yesterday I had some strong temptations for fast food on the way home from the office, they are lined up all down the road. Had to keep telling myself I had food at home and will fill up better on that, as well as just feel better.

I had my leftover chicken, some broccoli and the rest of my canned yams. And I had a couple of cheeky crackers and garlic hummus as I was heating everything up, lol. And for a dessert, my last hot chocolate bomb.

Nearing the end of the month, looking forward to a flair update and showing off the data collected.

Week 10, Day 6

SW: 213
Weight Two Weeks Ago: 193.2
This Morning’s Weight: 194.8
Goal: To stay under 200 into Sept and continue to 185.

You win some, you lose some! Hour 60 into my longest fast yet, I’m surprised to see the gain but at the same time not so much. I hit the gym several times this week, legs are sore. It’s my cycle at the same time, so, several reasons why there would be bloat/swell kickin’ in.

I look forward to continuing my routine as is tradition. This fast was made easy by excluding any type of calorie, no matter how small, and keeping up my electrolytes. Ice pops were definitely a hunger trigger for me a couple weeks back.

Either way, walked out of my job, start a new one in two weeks. Lots of time to come to center and be on schedule. The new gig is 7-3 so that’s perfect for me, could even just eat at home around 4 pm and continue on when it’s feast day!

Today, I look forward to breaking this fast with a tasty low carb meal; haven’t quite decided yet. Couple hours to go until I go into my 16:8 window!

Just gotta keep goin’ forward!

Happy Saturday!

Just finishing up week 4 of IF! 20:4 on the weekdays, 18:6 on the weekends, and mellow strength training 4x a week. Feeling gooooooooood.

I haven’t seen any dramatic weight loss but definitely increased energy and less bloating. Current BMI is 20.5 (5’4”/120lbs) so not looking to loose much, but am hoping if i can get those last stubborn 5lbs off I won’t look as pregnant (I’m 3 years post partum 🤣 but always have carried fat in my belly).

If anyone has tips for abdominal fat, the internet keeps telling me that ab workouts don’t really work and you just have to lose weight all over…which makes sense but is a bit discouraging since I’m generally happy with my weight. Do i need to just suck it up (metaphorically and literally)?

Day 80

2MAD and OMAD with occasional longer fasts

42F/5’8”, SW: 195 lbs (88.5 kg), CW: 167.6 lbs (76 kg), GW: 145 lbs (65.8 kg)

Finally, finally I believe I am turning the corner on this virus! Last night was the best night’s sleep I have had in the past two weeks. I did take Mucinex DM right before bed to preempt any coughing spells, but given how little I actually coughed, even without elevating my head on a stack of pillows, I am going to see if I can do without any medication tonight.

Yesterday was 2MAD, ended up being 17:7. Today will be another 2MAD day. While I am tempted to go for a longer fast, I want to make sure I am really over the illness first.

Hubby and I went for a 2.5-mile walk this morning, which was nice. He has been sick the whole time I have been sick. He was outpacing me on this walk, but not by much.

Between that and yesterday’s moderately intense gardening session, I feel like I am easing back into exercise. Slow and steady.

I noticed my fascia was tight this morning, especially in my right leg. Foam rolling after the walk seems to have helped.

Have a lovely Saturday, fasting friends! Looking forward to doing a longer fast with you soon. ☀️

About a week and a half of fasting 16:8 (and casually counting calories) and I’ve already lost 3.3kg! Hasn’t been too hard in terms of hunger because I’ve been keeping busy with work, drinking coffee and tea (no sugar or milk ofc) during my fasting hours to keep full.

I’ve still got 20kg to go to my goal weight, but right now, definitely have my eyes set on <80kg because that was the weight I plateau-ed when I initially lost weight a few years ago.

Day 3, 37F 16:8 SW 157.7 CW 156.1 GW 135

Today was pretty good. I had a rough night with work and that’s usually when I make poor food choices, but I managed to stay strong. I upped my protein intake a bit and it was like a switch went off in my head.

Today is a friend’s birthday. Her party didn’t start until after my window closed, but I made up my mind I’d just have some water or seltzer and call it good. I actually followed through AND I walked to/from. Walking home in NYC when everyone is out having food, that was tough but I just kept going.
