i’m on a 16/8 fast and about to drink some green tea- started last night at 10 pm and attempting to get back in a fasting schedule! feeling great honestly might take my early rising as a sign to hit the gym for some cardio before work :) hope everyone is having a great week and crushing their goals!!!!!
Ive been cheating a bit on my fasts, starting or ending about an hour late. Ive realized that baked goods are a trigger for my unintuitive eating, which sucks because I bake as a hobby! Last night I refocused and ended my eating window on time. Its raining and my dog adores the rain, so we will get a nice long walk today.
I started my 16/8 on superbowl sunday, so I am on day 5. I am feeling really good today, which I am attributing to the new fasting schedule. Did anybody else find the benefits start that quickly? Or did I just sleep well for once?
I work rotating shifts and usually feel like garbage, but not today!
I’ve been doing 17:7 with a few longer and shorter fasts thrown in, and i lost 8 pounds since Jan 1st! Also eliminated/reduced my sugar intake to one sweet treat a week and it helped so much. Looking forward to trying to throw a few day long fasts in the future!
since fall 2021 I have done OMAD. I liked it but messed up over thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and various sets of guests visiting. So I needed something different for a bit to get my butt back in gear. So I decided to do ADF all of February. So I eat on even days, fast on odd. It’s going good, I have lost about 7 pounds so far!
Question. I’m doing flexible OMAD. What do you do if you’re full but haven’t eaten enough calories for the day? I’m trying to not count calories (it’s just what works best for me), but I can’t help but notice that tonight my meal couldn’t have possibly been more than 800. It just freaks me out to know I haven’t eaten much. (For reference, this low of an intake isn’t very common for me. I’d guestimate that my average daily intake is around 1500)
