Ok so if I’m reading this right this is where questions or concerns go. Im a skinny guy with a beer gut and I hate it. I started on Saturday. OMAD. I know that’s a little extreme but I was basically already doing that but instead of one larger meal I was snacking through out the day. Drinking a TON of water and honestly kind of loving it in a weird way. Hunger pangs are less of a concern and more of a motivator… but…

I haven’t shit in at least 3 days. Maybe 4. I honestly cannot remember. Like I haven’t felt the urge even. I’m taking no supplements and cannot think of why. I’m not in any pain or anything so I haven’t gotten concerned enough to go to my doctor.

Any advice?

Hey all! I’m new to this sub, but have fasted off and on for years. Came over from r/fasting since it seems to be getting more extreme over there with time.

Currently on a 48-hour water fast! I’m about 16 hours in. Just finished a 36-hour fast yesterday, along with a 6-hour feeding window. Feeling great! I’ve lost 4 pounds this week.

Hey all. Fasted on and off since the initial lockdown in 2020. Went through a long rough patch in 2021, but oddly enough finally getting COVID was the weird spark I needed because losing my sense of taste and smell made me lose interest in carb heavy snacks literally overnight. Luckily, managed to keep it that way even after recovery!

Since that time (~5 weeks) I’ve lost about 12-14 lbs and counting! And finally this week over Xmas, when I was finally off school for a bit, I managed to get back to a minimum of 16:8 fasting every day. I also finally managed to massively overhaul my macros when I do eat, such that I’m hitting my target of 1.2-1.5 g/kg/day of protein, in contrast to this past year and last year when I’d be doing a 24 hour fast and then breaking it with 2 packs of pop tarts 🤮
