Hey everyone! First post here 🙋🏼‍♀️I fast 16-18 hours a day. I’ve been doing it for 320 days. I’m not sure how much I’ve lost because I don’t trust the scales but it has absolutely worked for me. I clean fast. I try to exercise but I’m not mega consistent. For me the best part about fasting is how it tackles my bloat! I’ve had a few months off track as I moved back to Europe from Asia which was very stressful but I’ve been back on it for 2 weeks and I’ve already dropped a dress size. I hope that this time around I can reach my target weight of 70kg! Joining the gym next week!

Good morning! I’ve decided to jump back on the OMAD train today after struggling (and failing) to lose any weight over the past few months (years!).

Feeling apprehensive about hunger pangs during the day, but will drink plenty of water, as well as some black coffee and mint tea to get me through.

I’m also going to weigh myself this morning and take a Day One progress pic.

Wish me luck!

Water fast, 20:4, started at 6pm last night and going until 2pm. I’m trying to make this a lifestyle change for weight loss and general health, as well as support my husband who is doing the same! I’m almost 16hrs into the fast and am having a particularly hard time because work is absolutely DEAD today, my coworkers brought in a bunch of different goodies for some reason, and I’m in a depressive mood so of course I want to partake in eating with my coworkers. I’m realizing that my “hunger” is more often than not a coping mechanism or escapism from discomfort. I’m trying to find other ways to get me through difficult moments because really it’s just moments of discomfort, not actual hunger. So far scrolling on my phone or listening to podcasts has helped for the most part. My biggest motivation is maintaining this habit for my husband’s health, because I know he needs to be supported in this. Plus my own health!! I have genuinely felt better since starting IF and it has even improved my pickiness/food aversions.

Have a great fast y’all!
