I have 20 min left in my first 16:8. I think I’m going to start doing it 3 days a week.

The last 2 hours are always the hardest for me. I think it’s a mental game. I start thinking about what I’m going to eat.

It would be nice to lose weight, but mostly I just want to stop gaining weight. I’ve also found that fasting helps get my anxiety under control once in awhile.

First time doing it, doing it for more of a mental challenge then weight loss.

18:6, 7days a week, over the next 3 days for Christmas I’ll probably just allow myself to break fast a few times.

Been pretty easy. I usually only eat one meal a day anyway then just snack out so basically main things removed are snacks and chewing gum and drinking more water. I eat 2-8pm.

It’s been 2months, I6:8, sw 231, cw 212. Today I had my first “heavy” foods since starting IF. I had garlic knots and a and an ice cream dessert at a holiday party. I was within my 8, but OMG I was NOT prepared for how ill I was going to feel after eating them! 🤢 my body completely rejected it all. Fwiw i still feel like shit 10hours later! So lesson learned. Nothing heavy or oily or rich. 🥴

I’m on day 4 of 16:8. Super excited. Cutting out most sugar, and since I’m only drinking black coffee in the AM, cutting out some caffeine too. Ive also focused on portion control, and this helps that!

I’m feeling better, which is my main goal. Trying to just take charge of some things in my life to feel better about myself. Losing weight is a plus.
