After some initial struggles in the first weeks, things are seemingly settling a little more

10 weeks in. SW: 180lbs. CW 169lbs. GW. 155lbs (165lbs first!)

the last 4 weeks or so things have really been more consistent at about 1lb a week. Initially my weight was all over the place or not moving, but nice to see some consistency now!

Hoping to reach 155lbs, so another 15 weeks or so hopefully. I’m at around 1400cals roughly a day (5’5 38M) so once I reach this I might increase a little and see where everything sits. Exciting!

16:8 with 1x 36 hr fast a week, water/coffee til 12 until 8

This is the first week and also coincides with my family getting the flu. I used to fast 16:8 pretty regularly but seemed to plateau, was doing OMAD for a little while with an occassional 36hr in there.I find that I’m much better at sticking to things if I have a goal, something to train for or get in shape for rather than an arbitrary number on a scale. My wife and I have a trip to Cuba planned for February and so I have 12 weeks to get in better shape. Hoping doing this in the middle of winter kickstarts a good year of fitness. I never have that much to look forward to fitness-wise in the winter so heading to a beach down south might just be the trick.

Starting for the first time this. Our Thanksgiving is delayed until tomorrow so trying a 36 hour fast today until tomorrow AM. Worried about how it will go but trying to roll with the punches. At this time any fasting is better than the all day snacking I used to do
