Type: OMAD for weight loss and overall health after the birth of my baby. Starting weight of 195lbs.
I’m on day 5 of OMAD and I’ve dropped 4lbs so far which I’m really happy about. I’m finding that mid-afternoon is when I want to have my meal (or it’s when I feel most hungry, anyway!)
This is going better than I expected so I’m also wondering if I could try doing a little more extended fasting here and there. I know I don’t ‘need’ to as I’ll still lose weight with a short eating window, but in the past I’ve found I get way more motivated to continue when I’m seeing quicker results.
Type: Water, coffee, tea and some Mio
Context: First five days in after months of 16:8!
Length: 20:4; twenty hours fasting, four hours eatin’.
Why?: To switch control to when I eat not how much through the day. Controlling wild eating habits under stressful work conditions. Losing weight.
Notes: First week so far so good! I lost two pounds through the flushing out with water, making sure to add powder with some sodium in it and others with electrolytes. Helped me throughout the day a lot, less headaches adding the sodium to the water! Meals on exercise days totaled 1600+, meals on off days was around 1300-1400. I feel really good. Eating keto; no sugar. Waking up I feel less grog and I am alert during the day with minimal caffeine!
