Yay! 57 hours into my 120+ hour fast. Almost halfway through. I woke up a little lightheaded this morning, but this pretty much always happens when I transition to heavy ketosis. I downed some LMNT electrolytes right away. After it kicks in, I’ll have my morning black coffee. My waist shrunk dramatically since I started fasting, food baby is finally moving through my gut.
Type water, black coffee, tea, LMNT, lemon juice (to counter oxalate dumps)
Context started Saturday night, ends Friday morning/afternoon
Length 120+ hours
Why? Gut rest, autophagy, mental clarity
Notes It’s just good to get back in the groove of burning my own bodyfat for energy. I took a month off fasting and though it was fun, I miss that crystal clear focused energy I have during consistent fasts. After this extended fast, I plan on following an OMAD pattern.
Water ( coffee/ tea)Started fasting in December but couldn’t follow the last weekend. Start 10pm. End 4pm20hoursWeight lossSW : 88kg CW: 87kg (had reached 85.5kg but saw weight gain during periods last week) GW: 65kg. Ht: 5’7”
I sometimes tend to feel dizzy right after breaking fast. Does anyone know why? Or if I should break fast a specific way.
Just finished a 36 hour fast - I wasn’t hungry in the morning so I ended up doing 38.5 hours! Today I’ll have a 10 hour or so eating window and tomorrow I’m doing another 36 hours because my best friend wants to try it (she’s been IF-ing for a while) and I will join her in the suffering 😆
22 days in 16:8 (sometimes OMAD)Water/ black coffee only. Weight hasn’t done anything yet.
So far IF is pretty easy, so I’ll keep with it, but I hoped to see something by now.
Why? Just had a baby and I want to fit back into my pre-pregnancy clothes.
(I don’t count calories and I never intend on doing so. I’m not concerned about the amount of food I’m eating. I’ve always erred on under-eating so I don’t want to encourage that.)
