3 weeks in of doing 18:6, with an occasional 20:4 or Omad. Have started doing 20min resisted exercises to gain strength and muscle. But so far I have been loving it. On refeeds I’m not too specific but generally it will be low carb, high fat and protein. It is also Lent so I have also cut out sugar and alcohol for 40days.

NSVBefore I started I couldn’t fit into a certain pair of jeans. Now they fit which is awesome. Noticed some clothes fitting a bit loose as well. This has honestly been my motivating factor cause I want to look and feel great as opposed to being fixated on a number on the scale, especially that it will take time.

I just found out I’ve been intermittent fasting for the better part of the year! Nice to see that there is a huge community of people doing IF - 16/8. Feeling quite stupid to be honest.Don’t really do it to lose weight or something, just keep my it on a stable level while being in the office a lot.

I’m on day 4 of 16:8, its my first time fasting, and so far so good, though the last two hours in the morning are usually a slog. I try to eat two low carb meals during the day and I go for a 3-5km run every 2 days. I crept up to 184 pounds, and wasn’t feeling or looking like myself. Looking forward to renewed self confidence and a healthier gut! 🙂

I started IF 18:6 (occasionally 20:4) on Feb 28th.. I’ve made it 18 days straight but taking today off. Have some St Patrick’s Day/Dinner plans.. I usually don’t get to do much celebrating/partying type stuff so I’m taking advantage of it today and right back on the IF tomorrow morning. It’s going to be weird eating at night again.. I’ve gotten so used to shutting down for the night after 6pm. Have a good day everybody!

14 hours into 23:1, water and black coffee only.

Last night’s OMAD was more carb-heavy than usual and I can feel it today! A bit bloated, and also my face feels puffy. I enjoyed the hell out of my dinner but it’s a nice reminder that my body doesn’t love when I eat that many carbs.

Since I don’t usually visit Reddit on the weekends, I’ll post here what my weekend plans are regarding fasting and meals (we have social plans tonight, Saturday afternoon/evening, and Sunday morning):

-I’ll end my fast today at 23 hours, one nutritious meal at dinner, water only

-Fast 19 hours, eat and drink alcohol for roughly 6 hours tomorrow

-Fast 13 hours, eat for 2 hours on Sunday

-Fast 31 hours to get back to OMAD Monday night

Hoping a longer fast Sunday morning to Monday evening helps balance out the unhealthy food and the alcohol from the days before.

17:7 everyday (because I like odd numbers and being different lol) and if I don’t do it everyday, I will fall off. I’m a Taurus.. ergo it’s all or nothing!!

I’m on day 3… Days 1 & 2 we’re easy. This morning, I weighed in a little heavier than yesterday, I’m hungry, I miss oat milk in my coffee, BUT I AM NOT GIVING UP 💪
