Type: fast from food. Black coffee or tea, water, certain non-flavored electrolytes and supplements ok.

Context: 34 hours in

Length: 36 hours

Why: give digestive system a rest, body fat percentage management, mental clarity

Notes: woke up around 3:30 and couldn’t get back to sleep, but long bus ride ahead of me today so napping is possible God willing . Hungrier this morning than I was on my 48 hour fast a while back. Glad I did the fast though, thank God it’s possible.

Hey everyone!
I’m back on the wagon with a few tweaks! I feel like easing into a longer fast is probably more sustainable, so I’m going to start small. I’m going to set my eating window at 12(noon) my time and end it at 7 or 8. I will do this for the week, then next I’ll try to stretch out my fasting time and slowly pull back my eating time. I find it really hard to dodge hunger when it’s freaking cold AF outside!

So until then I’ll be on the water/coffee train! Something light for lunch (more like a snack) then a full meal after work!

Why? Weight loss

Notes Just around 10lbs down, but last week was a bit of a slow down. This morning i finally reached my second mini goal of 180lbs (M, 6ft) with another 10 to go before I reevaluate. I find my eating habits are strongly linked to my mental health and I can feel a bit of a low coming on and that makes me want to eat lots of carbs. Yesterday I broke my fast earlier than usual but I managed to keep some semblance of control by having some nuts and prunes and then some cheese and pickles. Today though, i can feel the little devil on my shoulder urging me to eat something!
