I am two weeks into IF and Keto and I have to say I really struggled the first week, but I’m super proud how I did. Second week was easier and I’ve moved from a 16:8 to 18:6 with a goal of OMAD. Week three begins with me feeling energized and excited for what’s to come. I tried on an older set of pants that was a size smaller and they fit, if maybe a little tightly, but they fit.
I had made great progress before that thing started in 2020 and I really backslid a lot. Because of that I’m not going near a scale for a while - kind of depressing. I think once I’m comfortably down a size I’ll drag it back out and start tracking then.

Wrapping up 6 weeks of IF, mostly 20:4. Down between 11-13 pounds. Been sick all week (so no workouts) and started prednisone today. Ugh.
Besides the weight gain and ”puffiness” prednisone is known for, it also makes me super emotional, as in I just sit down and cry for no reason. I’m doing 3 days of 60mg and then 3 days of 30.
Anyone done short term prednisone and IF successfully? Managed not to gain or at least minimize gain? Ready for advice, as I really don’t want to undo the progress I’ve made.
