Water, 14-10, been doing it for 40 days so far. Additionally, I do 30 minutes of bodyweight training 5d/week. I’m a beginner, and I’d be okay with seeing slow progress in hopes of being able to keep it up long-term.

I goofed up during the holidays at my family’s and on some weekends, but I hope that’s okay. 90% of the time I manage to stick to it when I thought I wouldn’t be able to do it at all.

I’ve lost 6kg in the first three weeks and been stagnant since then. I’m attributing that to the Christmas days and since I’ve been getting stronger, maybe even a bit of muscle growth?

I hope to lose ~10kg more and I’m okay if it takes months.

I’m now noticing myself getting anxious about not seeing progress anymore, afraid that I’m doing too little to achieve anything at all. 16-8 might be doable, but the last few hours of fasting are really hard for me, emotionally, and I can’t imagine doing that for too long.

Any perspective?

2 weeks in out of 4, experimenting what IF does to my body and if I can use it as an effective process to cut 5kg+ from my body before climbing season (I’m a boulderer)

Just experimenting and looking more to nutrition to complement my training regimen.

So far dropped around 3kg give or take water/food.

Got stomach cramps / pain for the first time today without much change in diet, gonna stick through and see if it clears tomorrow!

Notes: yesterday was ok. busy prepping for a storm and had no time to sit around and think about food. Drank a ton. Had an ok lunch, wasn’t hungry for my pm snack, hungry for dinner. Slept hard, tired. Feeling hunger pangs now 1 hour before time is up. Not super thirsty.

Scale says I’m down a little bit. I step on it daily to see how my body reacts to what I’m eating. Carby things force me to retain water badly that I end up peeing out all day.

Mood is good, feeling positive. I have to go into work tonight at 6 and will be there until Monday sometime. Work provides meals, I’ll pack my own coffee. Will take my work breakfast and stash it away until lunch so I can feed up.

I’m on OMAD, was water fasting since yesterday and blew my meal on a piece of freaking cheesecake. I’m going to hate myself until tomorrow night for my next meal, I know I’ll be hungry in a few hours.

Ugh!
