Week 7 - losing weight - 16|8

Fell of the wagon for four days because of an emotional setback in my personal life. But it doesn’t make me feel better not doing IF so I’m back at it. IF is something I have control over so lets do it :)
Really want to see ‘the eighties’.

Day1 of Week22, IF, 18/6

SW: 104kg/229lbs; CW: 89kg/196lbs; GW: 85kg/187lbs

Today 87,9kg up from the 87,6kg of yesterday. Actually I’m pretty happy with that considering that during my two 18/6 days after the 48h, I managed to keep myself within 1kg from my last empty weight.

This either means that my digestion is speeding up (not) or there was very little unprocessed dry mass in my meals in the past two days.

I’m on a rolling 24h fast now, that’ll end in the evening when I get home. Then I’ll have an OMAD. That way between the end of the meal and the next eating window I’ll have 18 hours.

After the end of that 6 hour 2MAD eating window another rolling 24h is coming up.

It seems this schedule is good enough for me to keep me on track despite the lack of working out.

The rain scrubbing the air from pollens which is good, but also the days getting shorter. The combined effect should help with sleeping better soon enough.

Assuming the weather is staying this way and I won’t have to face another pollen-rich month, I might be able to reinstate my workouts which will have the benefit of burning more calories so I don’t have to implement the rolling 24h hours in my weeks.

I don’t know yet what’ll be the meal today, but it’ll involve a mango and greek yoghurt for sure. I’ve got some discount on ice radishes, carrots, onions and potatoes so I’ll need to find some recipes to work into my schedule

It is Monday once more, and as usual, this means new opportunities. Let’s get crackin’ folks! ;)

Water/black coffee (1-2/day) fast - coming to the end. 90 hours. Losing weight.

SW: 313lbs, CW: 177.2, GW: ?? 180 was my goal, I’m thinking 160, before I start trying to build a little muscle.

I’ve got 7.25 hours left in a 90-hour fast. Man, 90 hours is hard. I’ve done a couple of 90/91/92 in the past, but months ago. I typically do 21 hour fasts (so basically OMAD, because it’s really 21 hours, a meal, then back to it), sometimes 48 hours.

I just moved, so have been doing a lot of unboxing and moving stuff and MAN I can feel the fatigue big time. Yesterday, in particular, I was getting lightheaded every time I stood up. Today I’m just low-energy. This is unusual, as in the past my long fasts have gotten much, much easier after about 48 hours. I almost broke fast early yesterday because I was having a hard time, but I toughened through it.

This is the lowest weight I’ve been. And I mean - ever. I think I weight this much in like, junior high? I keep having to buy new clothes, and I bought a leather punch to adjust my belt. I feel much better about myself. I still have a gut, extra skin, etc. But I feel a lot better about myself. I kept thinking nothing had changed until a few weeks ago when I had to take a new headshot for a new job. I looked at the old one and wow, it’s a lot different.

Anyway - really struggling with the last few hours of this 90-hour. I doubt I do a long one again for a bit, but I’ll make it through!

Starting week 3. First time IFing. 16:8 usually ends up as 17:7. Water, black coffee, green tea only when fasting. No idea if I’ve lost weight. Scale at work is different than scale at home. Biggest improvements: slightly tight pants now fit better, better bowels, clarity, feel strong. Just to get it out there I think I was at 280 when i started.

Day 1 of Week 5

M/29/6’0” - SW: 230 lbs, CW: 221 lbs, GW: 200 lbs

16/8 daily at least, some days longer. Fast w/ water and black coffee

I’ve been lurking the sub since I started IF. It has been a great motivational tool to see others positive results and success stories, but I wanted to prove it to myself that these new habits were sustainable before I posted on here.

Adopting IF has been surprisingly easy. My wife and I are doing it together which helps hold each other accountable. Prior to this, we typically ate pretty healthy but the big downfall was night time snacking. We didn’t really change our diet, but now much more conscience of how much we’re eating (not calorie counting). We’re also not drinking as much and working out more as well! It has been a tremendous lifestyle change so far from all aspects and I’m looking forward to continuing to get healthier!
