23 hours on water, tea, and electrolytes. I’m aiming at 68 - 70 hours. It is my first attempt. I had 9 40+ hours (I counted), and I think I’m ready. I’m planning to add some bone broth tomorrow. We will see how it goes. Feeling great! Wish me luck!
Half hour left of my 16hr clean fast. I’m getting frustrated bc my weight is leveling out, so I might change something, whether that be length of fast, slight increase in calories, more water, and/or adding some strength/cardio. I don’t like changing too much at once because it’s tough for me to keep it going.

Comfortably at 16|8 for the past two weeks. 90% clean eating protein / vegetables / fruit. I hope to continue to lose to get to a healthier weight. I’ve felt really good so far, it’s really manageable. The one time I overdid it with processed carbs I felt really hungry the next 1-1/2 days, so lesson learned.
I usually do 23:1 and eat dinner each night, but I have some mid-day plans the next few days so I’ll flex accordingly:
-Today I’ll end my fast after 18 hours, then eat lunch with a friend at a salad bar.
-Tomorrow I’ll end my fast after 24 hours, then eat a late lunch with my parents.
-Sunday I’ll end my fast after 26 hours, then eat an early dinner with some family in town.
-Then I’ll get back to ending at 23 hours Monday evening and stick to 23:1 through next week!
I am hoping that one “shorter” fast for me, followed by slightly longer fasts for a couple days, will help my progress.
