Week 8

Went out to dinner yesterday, ate a ton of carbs and salt so I stood om the scale, more as a form of experiment because I wanted to see how much waterweight I gained…. gained nothing! The body is so weird, sometimes I eat a tiny bit of pasta and I gain two kilo’s all of a sudden. Almost weekend!

Day 24 of IF, fasting and keto for weight loss. Original starting weight 175lbs, recent SW165lbs, CW157lbs, GW130-135lbs

I’m down 8lbs in 24 days and I’m thrilled. The scale didn’t move the last couple of weeks, but I knew there was no way I was actually maintaining so it would just take time. Today I dropped 3lbs and I’m stoked!!

Generally I’m doing one long fast of 36-45 hrs per week plus 20:4 or 22:2 and sometimes OMAD. I switch it up to for my life and schedule and it just works for me.

After feeling poorly for so long I’m really trying to feel better. I’ve eliminated GERD and am no longer on meds for that. I’ve cut BP med in half and expect that may be gone soon. And finally I’m in such a good mental state lately.

I do hang out on the fasting and keto boards a lot to help stay on track.

Day4 of Week24, IF, 18/6

SW: 104kg/229lbs; CW: 88kg/194lbs; GW: 85kg/187lbs

Today is 88,4kg down from 89,0kg of yesterday.

The corrective action of ditching the pile of fruits already had a good effect on the weight, because this 88,4kg measurement is right between two meals before the 48h fast, so it is not even a proper after-sleep weight.

I started the day with the breakfast prefeeding for the 48h fast that consisted of grilled frankfurters and scrambled eggs, plus one oat bar for fibers.

I think it’ll be a while before I get the cravings for frankfurters again, so I’ll need to stock up on eggs.

This time around, I’ve got my electrolyte drink prepped and sitting on my desk right next to me, though it won’t be needed today, but I don’t want to make the mistake of last week again.

Making the drink and the meal in the morning have eliminated the time I had for my workout so I’ll catch up on that when I get home.

We turn the corner toward the weekend now, so hold on, and get them results!

I’ve lost 13 pounds so far. I’m not losing at a super incredible rate like some on this sub, but for me 6 lbs a month is still a miracle! In October, I’m lowering my daily calorie intake goal a little bit because I have two weddings that I know will be days I go over.

Best feeling: I bought new work pants 4 weeks ago and they already feel loose. I won’t be mad spending $50 for the next size down next month!!
