I’m officially at 1.5 weeks of IF! Down 5 pounds so far. I’m doing 16:8 everyday (sometimes longer). Managing portion control and stopping my munching habit. Thanks to IF I’ve been cutting sugars out.

My goal is to help control my blood pressure and get down to a healthy weight.

I’m 5’9/10 at 165 pound male. I’ve fat accumulated around chest, belly and chin that I’m trying to loose. My diet is heavy in carbs and I have a unhealthy relationship with food. I’ve gained and then lost over 15 pounds since last year. I’m not physically active, I run 2.5 miles every other day or two for the past 10 days. Any advice is welcome, on how I can start on my IF journey.

I messed up some what because I had a midnight 4 oz latte :/ so Id say I only did a 12 hr fast but I only drank some coffee and a 300 cals protein shake which keeps me full with no snacking until dinner. I am quite happy with this habit.

i lost a crap ton of weight on IF/Keto around a year ago (20kg ish), reached my goal weight and it was so easy to maintain it until I started getting a bit too leniant w my carbs (50-70g a day maybe even 100g sometimes) + stopped fasting. I didn’t gain too much weight (maybe like 15-25% of it back) but its getting a bit out hand now so I’m challenging myself to do 21 days to reset my body and also tighten up the amt of carbs im allowing myself.

pretty HARDDDD, first day, went straight into 20h but I have a long history of fasting so ik it will get so much easier soon. concerns are I’m on the stage of my cycle where I need more energy + prone to getting depressed and food gets me through that stage emotionally but idc I need to start now before it gets out of hand. its only 21 days + I’ve done it for longer so yh gonna just toughen up :D
