I’m on day 62ish of daily 16:8. I started fasting at my usual 4pm last night, but then around 8pm one of the waitresses at work offered me some blueberry pie that was going to otherwise be thrown out, and I’ve been having a craving for blueberry cobbler for literally almost a year now lol and I figured this was the closest I’ll get, so I caved. I feel a little guilty about that, but I reworked my meal plan for today to make my macros still work. So now my eating window opens around noon today, but I’ll still begin fasting at 4pm as usual.

Starting week 5 if IF usually 18:6 but often more like 20:4 with a couple 16:8’s. Between this and giving up sugar I’m down 8 pounds in about 8 weeks. It’s slow and I often think it’s just ‘water weight’ but it’s steadily going down so I think now this must be working. And it’s easy easy easy. I eat what I want in the afternoon/eve and otherwise I’m not hungry and like not thinking about food. My biggest hurdle is sometimes I just don’t feel like eating much even when it’s time to eat and I worry about getting enough nutrients. Might add a green smoothie or something to my routine just to be sure.
