Hi, hope everyone had a lovely holiday over the weekend.
As expected, I have gained 3kg in the past 5 days. I couldn’t follow IF or moderate carb diet as I was with family and friends. I know majority of this is water weight and 5k excess calories so I am doing a 20:4 plan today, followed by 36h fast on Wednesday.

19:5, for weight loss. currently sitting at 211.8lbs last time i weighed, tho admittedly… that was the day before xmas, lol. slow going…
i feel like i only come here for emotional support. what a bug! anyways… i want to quit so bad. i still haven’t lost any inches, 36lbs down from my start weight, and it really feels like i’m doing this all for nothing, since i’ve only been in more pain & have had worse mental health since starting IF. i don’t know what to do. i couldn’t care less about the health benefits, which is probably my problem with trying to stick to this. i just need to be thin before getting top surgery, because i can’t afford to fix the dog ears i will get at my current size… not even my current weight, since apparently no matter how much weight i lose, i’ll be the same size! lol
i don’t know what to do. i’m losing weight, but getting nothing for it. ugh. sorry for the depressing comment. i hope y’alls week has been better than mine!
18:6… I just started last week but I’ve already way surpassed my longest streak of not picking up food for breakfast on my way to work, I just can’t believe how easy it is to just say no…. when before I would just say I shouldn’t then promptly get into the drive thru, now it’s more like I can’t and I just keep driving… I don’t know it just feels like its so much easier to fight the urge to just binge on a bunch of food from some shitty fast food place…

Notes: I am feeling better mentally and have less bloating, but I’ve been doing this for 2 weeks and have lost a measly 2 lbs :( I feel like I’m hardly eating as it is so I’m not sure what I’ve been doing wrong after seeing people with the same amount of time as me are as much as 10 lbs down already
