Nothing major to check in about, other than I dreamed about 5 Guys burgers and woke up thinking I had binged on them lmao. I’m at 39 hours for my fast, and it’s the longest I’ve gone so I guess my body was all “omg burgers”.
Day6 of Week22, IF, 18/6
SW: 104kg/229lbs; CW: 89kg/196lbs; GW: 85kg/187lbs
New empty weight record: 85,8kg down from the 87,5kg of yesterday.
Honestly I was surprised to see the numbers at the end of my 48h.:P
I didn’t expect to see the 85 for another month or so, but finally a surprise that is good, so I take it!
Broke the fast with the toasted tortilla, with sour cream and an eggs-oinon-cheese omelette on top. I skipped the grilled frankfurters for now - maybe at lunch - and opted for greek yoghurt with banana, mixed with coconut shavings drenched in rum-aroma and some oats. One of my better choices for dessert lately :P
Turns out I’ll need to buy a size or two smaller clothing for the winter because everything I took out from storage is hanging loose on me. If schedule works out I’ll try to squeeze in a shopping run to do just that.
I hope everyone will have a fantastic and relaxing weekend! ;)
Been doing this since July and am about 23 lbs down from a starting weight of 250 (5’8” 41 F). I am being pretty consistent about OMAD during the week as 1) work kicks my ass 2) working out went by the wayside 3) am really all over the place with what I’m eating. So, I’m not really losing at the moment but I think thanks to keeping to OMAD I am maintaining, which is great given all the above.
Maintenance and consistency is a win.
Type of fast: water/Yerba maté
Context: Day 4 of ???, 54M SW 219.2 / CW 213.1/ GW 165
Length of fast: 18/6
Why? Weight loss, again
Notes: The scale reads as though I’m down 6 pounds in 3 days which I realize is water weight but, mercy, as I begin again it is so nice to see it heading I the right direction. I’ve hit 21+ hours the last two days. I like to keep my Zero app set at 18 hour fast. It makes me less anxious about “having to” hit the 20+ mark and even makes me feel like I’m accomplishing something extra. Silly perhaps, but it’s easier for me to fast right on past the “goal” instead of waiting for the moment I can stop my fast.
