Do you guys ever get to your goal hour of fasting, then think “I wonder if I can fast another hour?” and keep doing that for awhile?
Yesterday was originally going to be 18/6…but I held out to 20/4. Felt like I won a race back in high school!
I don’t know if people check this but I don’t want to make a thread about it - I’m new to 16/8 type of fast, I used to do the 5:2 ones back in the days and had amazing results but the two weekly days of eating 500 calories for 36h were far too miserable to repeat.
My question: if you happen to eat your food within, say, 4 hours rather than 8 (I had somewhere to go where I couldn’t eat and was coming back home after my 8h window), does that mean you have to wait 16h from the time your 8h window expired or can you start counting from the last time you ate? Just curious! I drank a few sips of orange juice around the 8th hour anyway because I was parched and had nothing else so the hours kind of work out but I was wondering for the future.
