Day4 of Week26, IF, 18/6

SW: 104kg/229lbs; CW: 88kg/194lbs; GW: 85kg/187lbs

Today 87,7kg down from the 88,3kg of yesterday and entering the weekly 48h fast now after the breakfast.

The breakfast included a tuna pate, a toasted tortilla, a tomato, some lactose free cheese, an oat bar and a banana.

Sleep was good and much needed, and yet I still feel like I could’ve used another couple hours.

It’ll be a hectic day at work today, so gotta keep this short :P

Friday and the weekend is right around the corner, so just have to outlast the day :P

Weight going down fast in my first week of doing OMAD. My challenge is going to be the weekend where I have to do 16:8 because of social events.

My lessons learned so far: it’s really not a big step to do OMAD if you have tried 16:8 or 18:6 for a few weeks. It’s so weird that before I would eat breakfast and at work I would eat my lunch before twelve because I was so hungry but I have no hard time with fasting. It helps if you trust that the hunger will go away (and it does).

Another lesson is that if you do OMAD or 2MAD it’s very easy to check if your food is balanced. Does my dinner have enough or too much protein, fat, calories, carbs, vegetables, fruit?

Day 18, SW: 86kg, CW: 84.4kg, GW: 75kg. it’s feeling pretty cruzy at the moment. I drink two cups of black coffee in the morning, hit the gym most mornings and eat usually just lunch and dinner. Hopefully the weight keeps coming off. Can’t believe how easy this is

Week 8 Day 2

SW: 188lbs CW: 181lbs GW: 140lbs

The past 2 weeks have been tough. Apparently taking Zyrtek can make you retain water, and my allergies have been bad some days with the changing weather. Weight (and my belly size) has been bouncing up and down pretty wildly coinciding with the days I take Zyrtek, but today I hit a new low weight, so I’m feeling less anxious!

I’m visiting my sister for a long weekend today and planning on having some great food! Let’s just hope I don’t overdo it haha

Type: 18:6-ish. Eating in the Noon to 6pm window.
Goal: Weight Loss.
Notes: Tried CICO without intermittent fasting. Didn’t work so good. Back to intermittent fasting.
Started using a FITBIT to track calories, HR, Sleep, Steps. So far, I like, but I have only had it a couple weeks.

Week 2, day 5 of IF 16:8

37F, 5’7, SW: 150, CW: 144.8, GW: 135

I’m not counting calories, and I am not restricting food types or amounts. I some kind of dessert (daughter’s left over birthday cake 😂) almost every day. I must be in a calorie deficit because I am losing weight, but I don’t know how big of a deficit it is.

Biggest positive results so far: I’m not as bloated, my period is normal for the first time since before I had my kids (the oldest is three now), I’m sleeping better (though with weird dreams?), and I don’t feel food obsessed. Many thanks to this community. I gave it a shot because of testimonials here.
